Overview

Schools of Magic

There are 34 schools of magic in total, of which one is universally available to all entities with the intelligence and wisdom to draw upon it, while the rest are only accessible to trained practitioners of the respective arts.

Each school of magic is categorised by the source of magical energy it draws upon and is further grouped within those categories according to the sphere they belong to. Schools are often referred to using their names in the Common tongue, however each one also has an Arcane name which corresponds to the first Arcane word used in any magical invocation from that school.
